New York City: Character Lenses

Nearly all of Jeffrey’s fictional characters cross through Manhattan. “No city in the world has ever made me want to laugh and cry so much,” Myles Fletcher, the narrator in All the Lonely Boys in New York, remarks. As Jeffrey’s stories connect and intertwine, these brief, popup slideshows hint at the underlying mood in the novel as well as elements of a new work in progress. Viewed from the perspectives of specific characters, accompanying quotes reveal the dynamic voices at play in the author’s fictions.
